Letter from Kimberly

Aunt Kimberly sent the kids a letter in the mail, with box tops for Aliyah!

The kids were excited to get a letter, so I took a picture of the girls holding the letter to send to Kimberly, but then Packer wanted to get in on the picture too.  So I ended up with a bunch of cute pictures of the kids!

Yummy times

Here are some pictures of some yummy times!

Aliyah has done really well with her reading minutes so her school teacher gave her a "free meal" at Applebees.  She was so excited about it!

I was craving bean dip and chips.  Packer and Hailey joined me for my craving and we just sat on the floor eating chips and dip!   Such cuties!

Aunt Kimberly brought us over some cupcakes.  The kids were being so cute enjoying them :)

We took the kids to Rumbi's one evening for dinner and decided we would love to go back to Hawaii!

Decorations

The kids love helping me decorate for Holidays.  They love decorating for any occasion.

Packer wanted to wear panties like his sister.

He and Hailey have been buds since Aliyah started Kindergarten.  He wants to follow her around and do whatever she is doing.  

Their favorite thing to do lately is find things to stand on to climb and jump off.  (Not my favorite activity for them to be doing! But you can see their determination to do this.)

They love building huts and "boats" to play in.

It was a windy day, so the girls wanted to fly "kites" (plastic grocery bags with a string attached).  They had a great time!

I guess Packer was tired!  He was playing in his room and then things got quiet.  This is what I found when I checked on him.  So cute!

Sweet Hailey Mae

Packer is now in Nursery with Hailey.  One of the nursery workers sent these pictures to us of Hailey comforting Packer when he was sad in nursery.  

These pictures are so sweet!  Just melts my heart.  I'm grateful for Hailey's sweetness and kindness to her brother and I'm grateful that Packer knew he could come to her for comfort.

Leaves

10/18

We helped rake Great Grandpa Carters leaves and get his house ready for winter.

The kids were so helpful!  They worked hard helping us.

Packer, tried to do what we were doing.  He would take his broom (the rake was too heavy and would get stuck in the grass) and push the leaves out of the pile, thinking we were just spreading leaves.  Although it was more work to rake them back up, it was so cute to watch that we let him.

The next week we went with Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen to the Pumpkin walk.  We had a BBQ at their house before we went.  The kids had fun playing in the leaves and even burying Daddy in the leaves.  What a good sport!
