Packer's first cereal

Packer had his first taste of Rice Cereal - his first solid food.

He loved it! He is such a good eater.

Aliyah wanted to try feeding her little brother.

Visiting the Dentist

The girls went to the best dentist around (Grandpa Sorensen) to have their teeth checked and cleaned.

This was their first official teeth cleaning and checkup.   Both girls did pretty well.  They loved that their teeth "sparkled" when they were done.  They sure love Dr. Grandpa!

Silly sisters

These girls make me laugh.  They have a lot of fun being silly and playing together.

Both of them playing Rapunzel with their long hair.  Hailey got the yarn hair, Aliyah likes to tie ribbons together to make long hair.

Sitting Up

Packer has learned to sit up by himself!

 The girls try to be helpful big sisters and put pillows and blankets all around him so that he has a soft landing if he falls down.

When he first started learning, they thought it was pretty hilarious to watch him sway from side to side as he was trying to get his balance.  They would giggle as they watched him do this and then burst out laughing the moment he did fall down.  Luckily, they had already prepared the area around him so it didn't bother him much.

What a cute guy!  He loves that he can sit up by himself now.

4th of July

This year we celebrated with the Sorensens and Carters.

Vanessa invited Aliyah over during the day to play on their big, blowup water slide.  The kids had a blast!  It was a great way for them to cool off.

That evening we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Sorensens house.

We had a great time that evening playing games, eating food, and getting dirty!  (At least that is what Hailey did!)

Great Grandma Carter brought some bubbles for the kids - they loved it!

It was Packer's first 4th of July.  What a cute little boy!

That evening we went over to watch the Clearfield fireworks.  Hailey squealed with delight during most of it, Aliyah loved watching them while playing with her glow sticks, and Packer slept right through it all!

Fun with the Nairs

We had lots of fun play time with the Nairs while they were here.

Uncle Solomon, Gideon, Aliyah, and Hailey had a great time playing dress up and Uncle Solomon was a good sport to play along (and to push them around in this play jeep)!

We had a game night.  Here is a picture of us playing the Disney Headbands game.  It was funny to see everyone in their ears.  Solomon's brother Josh joined us for a few days too.  Great times!

Cherry Hills

We have been lucky to be able to go to Cherry Hills twice this summer.  

Once with the Thomsons and Silvers to celebrate Galen's birthday (Jeff had court that day and couldn't make it, so I didn't get very many pictures).
