Christmas Day

Santa found us!
We had a magical morning!
Aliyah was so excited and anxious.  It took a little bit for Hailey to wake up and get into things, but once she did, she loved it!  And it was so cute to watch Packer on his first Christmas!
So here is Aliyah's excitement
Here's Hailey still waking up and being shy
And Packer, being cute and taking it all in!

Aliyah was really wanting an Elsa doll and was so excited to get her!

Packer got a Superman
Hailey finally got into things and was so excited!

And she got an Anna doll!
Aliyah and her Elsa dress and Hailey with her Anna dress.  They love the movie Frozen.
I'm so glad that movie has two princesses and that they are sisters!  It's perfect for my girls!
Packer took his time opening gifts.  He loved playing with the wrapping paper!  His Christmas morning lasted a long time

The girls tried on their dresses (and wore them the rest of the day)

I got an iPad mini!  Thank you Santa!

After opening presents and eating cranberry pancakes, we went to the Sorensens to wish them Merry Christmas and be there when Aunt Arianne called from Fresno, CA!  We were able to do a video chat on the computer with her.  It was so good to see and hear from her!  We sure miss her!
Here is Aunt Kimberly reading to the kids.

And opening more presents with Grandpa and Grandma

After having lunch with the Sorensens, we headed over to the Thomsons to wish them Merry Christmas.
We had more presents to open there too!

After a fun day with families, we headed back to our house to play with some toys and get ready for our slumber party by the tree!

We got out the mattresses, pillows and blankets and played a bit.

Then we all settled down by the tree and watched Frosty the Snowman a few times before some of us fell asleep.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a fun day for us.  The kids were so excited!
We had a nice dinner that evening.
We then iced some sugar cookies for Santa
Packer liked eating the cookies :)

Here are the girls with the cookies for Santa.
We then got our Christmas Eve pillowcases, watched Luke 2, and went to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads!

Christmas lights

We got to see some beautiful lights this year.
The city of Roy had amazing lights!

It was like a colorful Winter Wonderland!

This year we also went to the Layton City Park to see their lights.
The girls loved the "Ariel" lights the best.
Afterward the Layton lights we went to IHOP for dinner and to warm up.

This year we also did our annual trip to Temple Square to see the lights there.
It's always enjoyable to look at those lights!

Yummy treats

We celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day with the Thomsons.  We love that tradition.  We all bring an apple dish to share so we get to try lots of yummy, different apple food.  The kids also did some apple bobbing, an apple scavenger hunt and apple painting.  We even carved apples. What a fun evening.
Kimberly turned 25 and had a chocolate covered strawberry "cake" tower.  Yum!
And we had a coupon for cupcakes, so we got some gourmet cupcakes
Frosty cupcake
 Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cupcake
(Hailey had fallen asleep in the car so she just snuggled with Daddy.  We bought her a cake bite for later when she was awake)
 And a Candy Cane Cupcake

Strollin'

I can't believe I have three walkers now!  It's so fun to watch them play together.  A favorite of theirs is pushing strollers.  They all get their strollers (and Packer's walking toy) and follow each other around.  It's so cute!

Packer loves being like his big sisters.

And another thing they all enjoy is pushing Packer in their doll strollers.  It's great!  The girls love it and Packer loves it.  It keeps them all happy and entertained for a long time!

As you can see from Packer's face, he really enjoys his free ride!
They love it and I love it!!
