Christmas lights

We got to see some beautiful lights this year.
The city of Roy had amazing lights!

It was like a colorful Winter Wonderland!

This year we also went to the Layton City Park to see their lights.
The girls loved the "Ariel" lights the best.
Afterward the Layton lights we went to IHOP for dinner and to warm up.

This year we also did our annual trip to Temple Square to see the lights there.
It's always enjoyable to look at those lights!

Yummy treats

We celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day with the Thomsons.  We love that tradition.  We all bring an apple dish to share so we get to try lots of yummy, different apple food.  The kids also did some apple bobbing, an apple scavenger hunt and apple painting.  We even carved apples. What a fun evening.
Kimberly turned 25 and had a chocolate covered strawberry "cake" tower.  Yum!
And we had a coupon for cupcakes, so we got some gourmet cupcakes
Frosty cupcake
 Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cupcake
(Hailey had fallen asleep in the car so she just snuggled with Daddy.  We bought her a cake bite for later when she was awake)
 And a Candy Cane Cupcake

Strollin'

I can't believe I have three walkers now!  It's so fun to watch them play together.  A favorite of theirs is pushing strollers.  They all get their strollers (and Packer's walking toy) and follow each other around.  It's so cute!

Packer loves being like his big sisters.

And another thing they all enjoy is pushing Packer in their doll strollers.  It's great!  The girls love it and Packer loves it.  It keeps them all happy and entertained for a long time!

As you can see from Packer's face, he really enjoys his free ride!
They love it and I love it!!

Our Christmas Tree

We decorated our tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  It is so much fun for the kids.
This year they got out the step ladder so they could reach higher on the tree.  It was cute.

Packer thought it was great to try to help too.  Except he was doing the reverse.  Taking the ornaments off the tree or getting them out of the box and running off with them.

And as you can see in the pictures, the middle section of lights on our tree had gone out, but the kids didn't want to wait for Daddy to fix it, they wanted to decorate it now.  So Jeff worked on the lights after the tree was decorated and the kids went to bed that night.

Because of our cute little walker, we left the bottom of the tree very lightly decorated, but the top looked great :)
The next day the girls showed me their Christmas "socks".
It's something we have all probably have thought of doing at one point in our lives (or at least I have).
It made me laugh!
